At Impact Teaching, we’re always on the hunt for brilliant bloggers to join our volunteer writing team. If you’ve lived or taught in one of our program destinations, have oodles of info to share, and can whip up an awesome article (or two), then we want to hear from you.

Drop your details in the form below along with some writing samples, and we’ll get back to you soon.

Got experience teaching in Thailand? You might be just the person we’re looking for to fill our feeds with quality content on all things living, teaching, and exploring the Land of Smiles.

Let’s get started…

We’re one step ahead of you – here are the answers you’re looking for:

At first, no. Later? Maybe. We’re all about sharing real, quality content with our audience, and that means accepting posts from a range of people. But we can’t hire everyone. So, all our writers start off as voluntary contributors. Bloggers who churn out regular content that hits the mark with our audience will have the chance to get a paid position later on.

As a contributor, whether regular or occasional, you’ll get an author card at the bottom of your article that attributes you work to you. We’ll also share your work across our social media channels and tag your profile (with your consent, of course). This is great for the CV or writing profile and an awesome way to get your name out there as a blogger.

That’s entirely up to you. We suggest starting off with one article and going from there. We’re open to one-off contributions as well as regular features. Chat to us and let’s see how we can work together!

One of the main reasons we’re looking for people like you is to hear about your unique stories, experiences and advice. So, we encourage you to think of and suggest topics to our team. If it’s something we’ve already got covered, we’ll suggest some tweaks. Otherwise, you’re probably good to go.

Sometimes, we do have specific topics we’re looking for people to cover. If this applies to your experience, we’ll be sure to let you know.

Once we receive your application, our team will review it and be in touch via email. If we think you’re a good fit, we’ll chat about your topic ideas, offer some feedback, and get you started. It’s as simple as that!

We won’t give you deadlines, but once you’ve committed to writing an article, we ask that you complete it within 1 month.
