You might not think of sandy beaches when you think of Poland, but Gdansk will prove you wrong! Making up 1/3 of the tricity (Gdansk, Gdynia and Sopot), the area has everything you need for a day at the beach. The city is lined with colourful buildings and is a combination of modern facilities and clean beaches, meaning even a winter walk along the seafront is enjoyable.

If you prefer to learn about the history of the city, Gdansk homes Poland’s main port, which has made it a key player in Poland’s rich history. Homage is paid to the port city through Neptune’s Fountain, situated in the heart of the city.
